The Different Sectors of Activity for Designers

Transport & Mobility

Automotive design, taught within the Transport and Mobility programme in the dedicated department, is a field currently undergoing a (r)evolution.
External factors such as the economic and energy crises mean that the automotive industry must reinvent itself, and we are training those who will contribute to this transformation, closely collaborating with businesses.

UX & Interaction

The increasing presence of new technologies in our daily lives has created a new area of exploration for designers. New uses lead to new life scenarios and behaviours.
This is the new territory we learn to explore in the UX & Interaction department of our design course.

Identity Design

The role of the identity designer is to be the point of convergence and formalisation of a company's offer with its audience, towards a positive outcome.
There are numerous points of contact: strategy, mission, visual identity, retail, packaging, events, and experience.

Space Design

Being a Space designer means having the ambition to transform collective spaces by improving the way their occupants live, work, play, interact, and thrive.
The Space programme teaches students how to imagine places through the sensory, physical, and emotional experiences that volumes, light, and materials can offer.

Product Design

Industrial Design is the art of combining aesthetics and function to create objects made for mass production. Discover how we approach it at Strate, and how our Product[s] department embodies this vision within our program.
