Admissions to our English-language programs
At Strate School of Design, admission to our English-language programs depends on the level you’re applying for. From post-high school entry to parallel admissions into our graduate programs, several options are available depending on your academic background and experience in design or applied arts.
Admissions requirements of our English-language courses
To join Strate’s Industrial Design program right after high school, you need to:

Hold a high school diploma (or equivalent)

Provide a motivation letter and a creative portfolio

Complete a 45-minute individual interview

Be fluent in English (minimum B2 level)
Would You like to redirect your career towards Design after starting or completing a Bachelor's degree in any speciality? And you're fluent in English (a large proportion of courses are taught in this language)? Then our 4th year parallel admissions program is for you.

Do you have a Bachelor's degree or a BUT specializing in technical professions (IT, mechanics, etc.) or another type of technical Bachelor's degree in design, architecture or applied art, with an interest in technology/engineering? And are you fluent in English (the course is 100% taught in English)? Then our parallel admissions program is for you.

Admission procedure
To register, you must first fill out an application form and send it to the admissions department, which will review your file. If your profile matches the program, you will be invited to an interview with the program director.

- The answer to your application is sent to you within 1 to 2 weeks,
- If you are eligible, this letter will be accompanied by a registration file,
- In order to validate your registration, you must send us back the completed registration file, along with the required docu
