The idea was to have the students' point of view [...], the future district [on the Nexans wasteland in Lyon] is going to be built in 10 years, so their point of view is important because it's going to be for them tomorrow and so we wanted a designer's point of view with the design method centered on uses and this student's point of view which can make us switch and bring us a whole lot of elements.

We thought it would be interesting to involve the students in our process, instead of imposing our decisions vertically on them. All three proposals were excellent, but the project we chose had something extra. A spacious and functional kitchen that invites sharing, a projection room to watch movies with several people with comfortable ottomans, or a connected laundry room that lets you know remotely if machines are available or if a program is finished.

Nous cherchions un moyen de réunir notre équipe autour d’un projet de développement d’une nouvelle collection de mobilier de jardin innovante et différenciante.
