Admissions to the Lyon and Paris campuses are open to post-baccalaureate students (on Parcoursup or not, depending on the course of study), in parallel admission or in post-graduate studies.
design is the only option
At Strate School of Design, we offer post-baccalaureate or parallel admissions (post-Bac+1 to Bac+5) design training.
It is therefore possible to enter Strate to do the Design program just after high school by going through Parcoursup. You can also, depending on your level of study, enter the other years by competitive examination in the 2nd year, and by interview and portfolio for the 3rd and 4th years.

1ère année
The application for the first year at Strate School of Design is done on Parcoursup by selecting the campus(es) of your choice.
Strate offers 135 places in the 1st year of Design on each of the 2 French campuses. The only prerequisite to join us is to have passed the baccalaureate without any condition of series or speciality. The school will study your Parcoursup file (academic file and motivated training project) as well as your creative file, before inviting you to a motivation interview. The results will be available on the platform, so remember to follow the steps and dates of the Parcoursup calendar throughout the procedure.
2e année
You have a Bac +1 and wish to join Strate, School of Design in Design next year?
You can try your luck by applying for the 2nd year Design entrance exam.
If you are finishing your MANAA (foundation year in applied art) or if you have done a year in Applied Art or Design in another establishment, you are eligible to sit for the entrance exam for the 2nd year of the Design program at Strate Lyon or Strate Paris.
3e et 4e années
At Strate School of Design, the first two years of the Design curriculum are a core curriculum, students specialize from the 3rd year in one of our 5 fields.
Admissions are open throughout the year, subject to availability of places. Selection is based on a study of the student's academic record and a motivation interview.
